Charlie Don’t Surf was;
Joel Elder-vocals, Mark Howard(Mach Fox)-guitar, Dan Turnlund-guitar, Curt Carter-bass, Randy Hawkins-drums.
Randy and Dan worked at First Avenue for years. Randy still does, and I work at Lee’s Liquor lounge, where I have been a soundman for 14 years.
Curt worked at the Uptown Bar.
We played both of those places pretty often, because we had an in, and there weren’t too many other places to play back then.

I recall creating their first band logo / Sticker of Charles Manson on a Surfboard hangen 10 , funniest place I’d ever seen it was on the back of a squad car rolling down lyndale Avenue lol..
