Close enough.  20 years after Copper Blue was released, it&#8217;s getting a proper remastering and re-issue on Merge Records this year.  Has it really been 20 years?  Damn, I&#8217;m old!<\/p>\n<p>I really liked Bob in the 80&#8217;s and 90&#8217;s.  He lost me when he started with the techno stuff, but his other solo work isn&#8217;t that bad&#8230;but certainly can be hit or miss.  For me though, Sugar is where Bob peaked.  Two and a half albums of near perfect noisy pop music.  Don&#8217;t get me wrong, Husker Du was an amazing band, and from what I&#8217;ve heard the biggest selling of the SST bands, but Sugar will always be just a little bit better to me.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t picked up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/See-Little-Light-Trail-Melody\/dp\/031604508X\/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&#038;qid=1342418508&#038;sr=8-2&#038;keywords=bob+mould\">Bob&#8217;s book<\/a>, it&#8217;s probably worth a read.  After reading some of it though, my opinion of Bob changed a lot.  Personally I think he comes off a bit full of himself, and kinda of a dick.  But I guess given his accomplishments, maybe he deserves to be&#8230;who knows?  <\/p>\n<p>Finally, no mention of the Sugar re-issues would be complete without also asking the question:  Where the hell are the Husker Du remasters\/re-issues?
