Outcry were hands down the best straight edge band to come out of Minnesota.\u00a0 It’s too bad that the recordings that would document their career would be only 12 songs.\u00a0 They released one 7\u00a0 song EP on Positive Force (7 Seconds’ label), one track on a compilation LP from the same sessions and for the same label, and about 10 years after they broke up, a 4 song 7" EP.\u00a0 That’s it, and that is a shame.<\/p>\n

I saw Outcry play several times in their short existence.\u00a0 Most notably was opening for 7 Seconds at McCready’s pub in downtown Minneapolis.\u00a0 It was that show that set them up for the Positive Force releases.\u00a0 All of this stuff is just about impossible to find these days (but I think I still have a few sealed copied of the 12" EP in my basement somewhere) so grab it now while you can!<\/p>\n
