How did I miss these ladies for so long?\u00a0\u00a0 Lori was\/is a staple in the Minneapolis scene, and has been for as long as I can remember.\u00a0 I remember her tending bar at the Uptown in her pre-Babes days….she was everywhere though.\u00a0 In the 90’s it was tough to go somewhere in Minneapolis, and not see her.<\/p>\n

Although they got swept up in the grunge scene, and eventually signed to Warner Bros. (much like the Huskers did years earlier), I don’t think anyone would have ever hung the “sell out” label on them.\u00a0\u00a0 Catchy as hell angry chick rock.\u00a0 Right on.<\/p>\n
