Test Monkey

Demo

I wish I knew more about these guys.  Test Monkey were a sort of industrial/noise/punk band from Minneapolis.  They played a lot at First Ave., likely because their guitarist worked there.  I saw them a few times, but remember liking this tape a lot more then seeing them live.  That’s just my opinion though.  YOu can’t play as much as they did and not havea few fans, so someone must have really liked them.

For more info, check out their MySpace page.

I know the guitarist personally, maybe I could setup an interview — I’m looking for one of the original tapes, There is some YouTube footage of “Brain Drain” now up online — He also played in Nova Mob briefly. He gave me some tips throughout my life, perhaps leading me to success somehow. ✌

    Hi,
They also played quite a bit at the Uptown Bar, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Saw them there a couple of times. Loved them, and they should have got more recognition!
