Marble – Spinning Around (2017)

Another re-issue of an old album released a while ago. This is the Japanese reissue of the Taystee Records original release. It’s remastered and includes some bonus tracks that the original version doesn’t have.

This was the era of the demo tape. They must have sold a metric shit ton of those Bombs Away tapes. I think everyone in town expected these guys to get real big on the metal scene, including themselves. Not sure why that never happened. I know they had some sort of deal with a major label, and put out an album on Red Decibel.

I went to high school with the bass player, Curtis. I remember watching them practice in his parents basement once. Really nice guy. The singer, Jimmy was the metal hipster in town (I don’t mean that in a bad way), and went on to play with Andrew WK.
