This was the era of the demo tape. They must have sold a metric shit ton of those Bombs Away tapes. I think everyone in town expected these guys to get real big on the metal scene, including themselves. Not sure why that never happened. I know they had some sort of deal with a major label, and put out an album on Red Decibel.

I went to high school with the bass player, Curtis. I remember watching them practice in his parents basement once. Really nice guy. The singer, Jimmy was the metal hipster in town (I don’t mean that in a bad way), and went on to play with Andrew WK.
